It's a question for me since a long time. If I create a transaction and
just do select statements in it, I'm sure that I didn't change anything

I'm in the process of migrating an application from Firbird 1.5.3 to
Firebird 2.
Everything went fine until I came to the backup process. the code that
worked perfectly with v1.5 doesn't work anymore with Firebird 2. I get
