connecting like so:
isql-fb -u sysdba -p masterkey
This worked well, but now I’d like to use superserver,

Okay, worked fine on another box. I’m assuming that the first box has some
classic cruft leftover somewhere or something that’s horking the superserver

Dan,
We are a provider of a commercial software package that runs on the firebird
database, this afternoon we have been deluged with offices calling that their
database is down. In every case we are finding firebird 2.1 shut
down. Restarting it seems to only last for a bit.
Is anyone

What do I need to tweak to get it so that I can connect and create a

Hi,
I have a fdb firebird database and i want to change database default
charset for turkish charset.
e.g. When i use sql order by varchar field, this field is ordered but
turkish charsets were at the end of sorted records every time.
How can i solve this issue?
Please help me:/
Thanks.
Assuming OPS_ONBOARD_TIME, OPS_DELIVERED_TIME and OPS_APPT_LOW are all DATE
type,does this solve that problem?
COALESCE(OPS_ONBOARD_TIME, OPS_DELIVERED_TIME, OPS_APPT_LOW, CURRENT_DATE)
Since they are all TIMESTAMPS, that didn't fix the problem but
CURRENT_TIMESTAMP did.
Thanks.
