is there a good and up to date official source of documentation on firebird.conf and other admin? I can't find anything in the https://www.firebirdsql.org/en/reference-manuals/ https://www.firebirdsql.org/en/reference-manuals/ that is as good as the older release notes, nor the janus software

I've just tried TempDirectories = /location1 5000 ;/location2 ; /location3 And location1 is ignored, but 2 and 3 used!

Hi All, Setting the optional size argument on "TempDirectories" in firebird.conf doesn't seem to work. We've played with setting different locations and can demonstrate it works: TempDirectories = /location1; /location2; /location3 But specifying sizes seems to get the whole line

Hi Marianne, We have just had the same problem on an almost identical setup for the last month. This morning we tripped over http://tracker.firebirdsql.org/browse/CORE-5067 http://tracker.firebirdsql.org/browse/CORE-5067 which is a problem in 2.5.4 relating to the security2.fdb sweep/OAT.

So, did you make experiments with sudden reboot of one of the nodes with simultaneous high load (inserting or updating a lot of records)? Hi Alexey, That's pretty much the only test that we've tried in several different ways. The problem is that Firebird is just too reliable, so I don't

Hi All, We use nbackup to pull live copies of customer's production databases back to our office to play with and help with support. We run a level0 backup every weekend, and a level1 every day which are both copied back to the office over night. That just leaves us to run a level2 when we
