[firebird-support] Object dependencies in Firebird OO API

   Hello, All.

   In the description of OO API I failed to find if objects (classes) are 
depended or not.
   I.e. I would like to know if order of releasing of them matters. Can I 
release 
IProvider before IAttachment and IAttachment before IStatement or it is 
required to 
release acquired interfaces before the interface it was got from?

   I would suggest to build it from sources in your environment. It looks like 
distributed 
binary was built with older ODBC headers and follow older specifications.

   Your assumption is right, but you don't need to worry. Even if Windows 
doesn't update 
file metadata and doesn't flush system buffers to the disk, copy routines will 
read the 
data from the system buffers. That's how cache is working.

   Firebird has events (read Language Reference about POST_EVENT), Oracle has 
Publisher-Subscriber notifications, Advanced Queue and a lot of similar stuff, 
MS SQL has CDC.
