To those that attended the IS4IS conference in Vienna: My apologies for missing
my talk and the cruise on the Danube. I had to leave early Sun morn for
Romania because my wife's mother had a stroke and I therefore missed giving my
presentation. Never had a chance to say goodbye to the many new

The IS4IS (& FIS) Conference in Vienna is just over. It has been a nice
occasion of sociality, an opportunity to meet in person discussants we
were in contact many years ago --more than three or four dozen fis
parties were there, including a number of colleges from China.
