Hey! I just want to say that my gelding Fair Acres Bergen and I were in our first parade. Its something I've always wanted to do and we finally did. I thought I chose a small, quiet parade but that was not the case. There were 130 entries and it seemed the requirement for each unit was "noise". Marching bands, fire engines, bells, whistles, horns, loudspeakers blasting music, etc etc. Bergen has not been off the farm much until this year (my bad) so I knew this was alot for him. He was true to the fjord breeding and didn't freak over anything. He was not totally relaxed, but when you think of what can go wrong, I was proud of him. Probably the only thing that made him really look was manhole covers. I just love the fjord mind.
