Hello list,
I was just wondering if anyone had had any luck getting this to work with
4.3, I'm about to give it a try here and wanted to know if there were any
success or failure stories.
Also on 4.2 I have used the monowall webui and put together a little web
interface for managing my 4.2 flashb
I'm running 4.4 without any issues using my modified version of
flashboot...my mods don't do anything that would change anything that would
affect this though, make sure your kernels don't have pccoms, and it should
work.

Just curious if anyone has had any luck building under 4.8, I just gave it a
go last week and failed miserably. Normally I just run build-release, and
then build-kernel and all is good but with 4.8 and the gcc4 changes I've hit
a wall that looks very similar to this:

Hey all,
I eventually got this working, here's a short synapses of what I had to do
to get this to work:
You'll need to download src.tgz and sys.tgz as well as base48.tgz etc48.tgz,
comp48.tgz, man48.tgz, misc48.tgz into a directory then do the following:
I do this from within the flashboot dire
Oh, one more note, I had to change the mk-mini.conf to work, here is what
the end result was for that file:
WARNINGS=yes
PIPE=-pipe
STATIC=
DEBUG=
KERBEROS=no
KERBEROS5=no
AFS=no
TCP_WRAPPERS=no

Hey mark:
Skipjack and libdes were retired from the system. CAST-128 implementation
was also removed from libc.

I have a fairly customized FB install, but here is my usage:
Filesystem SizeUsed Avail Capacity Mounted on
/dev/rd0a 24.2M 24.1M 23.0K 100%/
mfs:17070 9.7M2.6M6.6M29%/usr/local
mfs:17063 19.5M1.0K 18.5M 0%/ftmp
/dev/sd0d 5.0M
Just noticed that all of these have been updated to 5.0.
Also why the jump in filesize i remember with 4.8 I was making images
around 7mb what happend that gets them 10 mb bigger with 5.0?
