Hi there,

Has anyone come across a solid method for preloading FLVs?

I've been using a slight variation on the plain vanilla one
from Flash
docs(http://livedocs.macromedia.com/flash/8/main/wwhelp/wwhimpl/common/html/wwhelp.htmcontext=LiveDocs_Parts&file=00001573.html)
but am finding it unreliable. Shorter FLVs seem to preload fine,
but anything over, say 6mb, will often go through the motions of
preloading, but then plays back as if it was streaming without
being cached i.e. it staggers through the first playback and plays
smoothly after it's reloaded.

What really gets me about this, is that smaller files with same
data rates preload and playback fine...

Thanks!
- Igor
