I've searched the archives on this but didn't find much related to this so.
Does anyone know of a best practice or design pattern or code example or article that can point to an efficient and flexible way of building a Flash projector that can act as a menu system for launching PPT presentations on a CD? The CD will be created for conference attendees and contain all the PPTs that will be presented. I need to be able to build the Flash projector up front and then change things (such as number of menu items/names, number and names of presentations, etc.) by simply editing an external text or XML file so that the Flash interface will adjust as needed.
