So the work around that we came up with doesn't require the user to go digging
around in their settings. We put this meta tag in the head of the page.
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" />

Now our flash content shows in IE9 on Windows 7. Hope that helps someone down
the road until a new Flash player is released by Adobe OR Windows comes up with
a fix.

Subject: [Flashcoders] IE 9 Flash security issue

I'm sure some of you have encountered the missing flash content when viewing in
IE 9, have any of you come up with a solution to fix this issue?
I have a flash app that is pulling data and I have all the proper crossdomain
security systems in place, the flash movie is in the page but not
Initialized because of an IE 9 security issue.

Thanks,

-Gerry
