[Flashcoders] f4v video does not play in test mode
Hi When I test movie with f4v video in Flash CS3 it does not play. But it does play when I test this swf in browser. Both test situations have video on my pc. What the reason of that can be? [Flashcoders] Away3d and scaling
Hello ! I've been trying to use Away3D for a few days now for a website I'm working on. I should say that almost everything will be planes with interactive movieclips as textures (best options I have so far). What I'm having trouble with is the scaling of objects, my scene is - so far - like this : A group of words (some Textfield3D in an ObjectContainer3D) at coordinates 0,0,0 with the camera (Camera3D set with default parameters) in front of it at z:-500, each word is clikable and the camera will lock on it's coordinates (x, y, z) to tween there. At the end of the tween, a plane textured with a MovieClip (originallly dynamic vector text before Away3D makes it bitmap) is created and put in front of the camera. The problem is the size of the plane (800x550) is way bigger on screen that intended and as it is a bitmap, the quality is pretty bad too so I tried to push it away (z:1500) but the primary idea was to make the plane in front of the targeted word. So I'm wondering, should I manually test the size and position of each objects (which sounds time consuming) ? Or is there some smart scaling to objects I would have missed? My first idea was to create another view to display my plane but I though this was going too far so I'm asking for some help before loosing my mind ;) Thanks and regards. [Flashcoders] Kevin’s components for Android 3.0?
Anyone working with/modifying Kevin’s components for Android 3.0? http://blog.kevinhoyt.com/2010/05/some-flash-android-components/ Are there any other Actionscript-based variations for Android 3.0? I have seen most of the standard sets of components in Actionscript source; but nothing that extends or provides something similar to Kevin’s. I’m looking to (quickly) beef up Kevin’s components, to do things like add Data Providers and add physics for gestures for lists, etc. If you have something that you can help me with (for $) in this area, please send me a note.
