In CS4, the errors panel should be showing you location of the warning
and you should be able to double click the message line to goto the
action panel and see and edit the code in question.

There's an attibute on TextField called restrict. It takes a regular
expression of all the characters that are allowed to be entered into

of class C, then just because A was subclassed into B, B still refers to
class C - what else should it do?

This is the intended behaviour. You should fire the change event
yourself. The reason being, know you changed it, so you can call or do
anything else you like at the same time. It's only when the user
interacts with a component that you want to detect.
