Re: [Flashcoders] For those who want to unsubscribe - change settings
I would be happy to follow the directions, however, it has been a long time, and I don't remember my password. And...the password reminder does not seem to work. I have tried three times. - Original Message - From: "Alain Rousseau" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: flashcoders@chattyfig.figleaf.com Sent: Friday, October 19, 2007 2:29:09 PM (GMT-0500) America/New_York Subject: [Flashcoders] For those who want to unsubscribe - change settings Read the first message from the new list ! Re: [Flashcoders] digest
Password mailing reminder seems to be broken as well, I put in two requests so that I could change to digest, and have received neither one. ___ Flashcoders mailing list Flashcoders@chattyfig.figleaf.com http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/mailman/listinfo/flashcoders

Re: [Flashcoders] Urgent help !!! Please :)
This is an ongoing area of debate, but, the fact that popup windows are problematic isn't disputed. If I go to a public website, click a link, and see a popup window warning, I navigate away from the site. I always advise my clients against this approach. It just introduces issues that are easily avoidable. - Original Message - From: Johnny Zen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Flashcoders mailing list Sent: Tuesday, February 27, 2007 1:45:01 PM GMT-0500 Auto-Detected Subject: [Flashcoders] Urgent help !!! Please :) Hi all Finishing a project and came to a hurdle. 1. User clicks on link in browser. Opens a new smaller browser window! (Out of interest, what do people think about opening new browser windows?, I cant decide whether this is a bad idea to begin with!) 2. Within new window, there is my flash application, which at some stage requires another flash application! Which is bigger. So I try the resize window method within body tag, which isnt 100 - i.e doesnt work in IE7. (ok in firefox) Whats the best thing to do here? Does anyone know a 100% working method for resizing windows from within Flash? Am I doing something totally stupid by even thinking about window resizing? Any help would be cool!
