I have aform I ahve made that is just an swf loaded into another It
is one frame and consists of only some text inputs and about 4-5
comboboxes. A strange thiing I cannot get around is after the form
swf loads, it stalls the main flash movie (rollovers, everything) for
Welcome to Macromedia components. There really isn't a way around this
except to wait a frame or two to draw the combo boxes on the screen (which
simply delays the inevitable) OR download some slimmer components.
I highly recommend the Ghostwire component sets. They've worked very well
for me.
Seems unlikely they could be any harder to skin than the MM combobox :)
I do like the way the finished skinned comobox looks with its
animated dropdown set to ease/bounce, now I guess I just have to
decide if the wait for them to initialize is worth it.
