Unlike in AS2, you don't have to use runtime shared libraries for AS3 to load fonts. It's simple, all you do is embed the fonts in a swf and load that swf in using a loader. Once the loader loads the swf, all fonts will be available for use. http://livedocs.adobe.com/flash/9.0/ActionScriptLangRef
