I'm dealing with a bug that I've seen some references to on the web, but no solutions.

Using the Loader.unload() method will unload an object that has completed loading, but to stop a load process that's in progress, the Loader.close() method is specified.

However, when trying to use this, I receive a "URLStream does not exist" error.

Has anyone experienced this and possibly found a workaround?
