Hi all,

I have a swf that uses several external classes (the built in tween classes
and some of my own), and when I test the movie I notice that this code is
compiled in frame 1 of my movie. So a preloader isn't going to be 100%
accurate as it will load my classes first, then my preloader code. Is it
possible to configure where classes get compiled, so maybe it isn't in frame
1?

what is the problem of using an external preloader-swf ? that way you don't have to worry
about such things.

btw: this question comes so often i can't count, would you mind digging the archive next
time you prepare to ask a question ?

go to file publish settings, under the flash tab there should be an
actionscript version select box, next to that is a settings button,
click that and from there specify which frame you want to export your
classes.

Ah, there it is. Thanks Doug.

And guilty as charged on not searching archive. Sorry for the redundant
question all.
