Yes, it's true, and I've narrowed it down to one statement: import fl.events.ComponentEvent;
When I include this statement, the swf won't compile. Even after deleting that line of code, Flash won't compile. I have to close the IDE and restart. What could be causing this? I can't imagine it's the actual statement itself, but rather some deeper issue.
