Re: [Flashcoders] v.8 SWF loading v.7 SWF issue

2006-07-04 Thread Marcelo de Moraes Serpa

Ok, I solved it. Aparently this happened becouse I was exporting for Flash 7
and compiling to flash 8 in mtasc (-version 8). Now I exported to Flash 7
and compiled using the -version 7 option in mtasc. When I exported the swf
to Flash 8, mtasc throwed a Input Swf is corrupt, that´s why I was
exporting it to Flash 7.

Now the question is: Will Flash 8 specific code/features work in this swf?
That´s becouse the code is injected later... does exporting/compiling the
swf to flash 7 prevent it from using flash 8 features?

Marcelo.

[Flashcoders] v.8 SWF loading v.7 SWF issue

2006-07-03 Thread Marcelo de Moraes Serpa

My project used to be exported to flash 7 swf´s. Then, I started using some
Flash Player 8 on some of them. Then, suddenly, a swf 7 that is loaded by a
Flash 8 swf started having problems with the shared library importing
(shared fonts and components not importing). I wonder if this v8 swf
loading v7swf could be the problem? Has anyone ever had any similar
problems?

Thanks in advance,
