Hehe Google Mercator projection and start doing math . I started working on maps too and as I can see my employer uses Mercator projection algorithm to calculate x,y. So my advice to you is to get started with that if you don't find service that will help you. Greetings -Original

That is, only if his base map actually is in Mercator projection (which I doubt). Rich, first you have to find out the actual projection of your base map. Only after that you can do the math. For more info on map projections: http://www.csiss.org/map-projections If you are north american based
