I would like to know if there is a way in the current Cairngorm framework to support DataService binding instead of RemoteObject binding. I have modified the original version of the basic Flex Phone sample to use a DataService java class in the web server instead of using ColdFusion, and it seems to work just fine. When trying to do the same on the new Cairngorm 2 Phone version, it seems that the ServiceLocator works only with RemoteObjects in ColdFusion. Is this the case ? Do I have to have ColdFusion ? Do I have to have RemoteObjects ?
