RemoteObject can be used the same way Flash Remoting works, minus any
push technology and/or other FDS features?

technology? What are the other major benefits to using FDS over

I didn't say anything about FDS needing to be there to use remoting... for that all you need is the coldfusion update. I merely said that I had installed express... that way it's available should I need it. Thusfar I have not. Also, truth be known, I'll likely never purchase a license of FDS, si

this time, I only have a handful of clients that all like having their
own hosting plans. Also, if what you say is true, then you really do
