Thanks for the Link Alex, I'm afraid my use case is rather more complicated than I explained. It is possible to select one of my rows regardless of my status, it is only when multiple rows are being selected that I want to exclude certain rows.
In effect a single selection shows a canvas with a list of sub-options to be chosen, where as the multiple selection is geared to a single option. I think I will work around this, by doing a filter of the selected items in the grid before I process those rows. Andrew
