So I made some coding changes on the backend and the error went away.
Here is the coding change I made to the service that the httpservice
was receiving the xml from:
response.setDateHeader(Expires, System.currentTimeMillis());
response.setHeader(Pragma, cache);
response.setHeader(Cache-control,
