I want to apply a filter to the labels on all my buttons. I have a custom
programmatic skin setup for my button, is there a way I can access to
label attached to the button component in order to apply a skin to it.

I'm thinking of a component that will display a number (or more generally, a
string) with a graphic around/under it. Rather than centering the string, I
think I'd prefer to size the component to enclose the string. However, the
aspect ratio of the image must be preserved.
