OTOH, AIR send the first instance an event when the second instance is
launched. I don't know if there's a way around it, but I'd just put up
another Window for that second instance.

Do you know off the top of your head what event that is, Alex? I had a
bug report the other day that I could resolve with this (I didn't
realise that event happened, so thanks)
