When using SVN with Flex, it seems to automatically ignore the output
folder, and the output swf files...
This is creating problems for me because I'm developing a kiosk that needs
to access resources in the same directory as the output swf - but I can't
check these files into SVN..

storying the FriendVO object works perfectly, but now i want an event
to fire up whenever i add a new FriendVO object, delete it or change it.

I have searched the archives a bit and did not find an answer. This is
probably Flex 101 but I am stumped.
I cant seem to get relative URLs to work for httpservice.
If I set the URL explicitly - it works great:
fooRequest.url=http://localhost:8080/FlexFoo/FlexFooServlet;;
I just want the url
