How do I access the sprite/movieClip instance (not sure which it is in the image class) of an image loaded into image tag and then pass that to an actionscript method? Basically, I have a repeater that loads dynamic images (based on XML data) into an tag. That works fine

As Julian said, you may very well very well be the last flex developer left. And for that matter, the last ColdFusion developer. It could be a server environment change that is incompatible now with either Flex or ColdFusion. Technologies change and move on, sorry if that doesn’t help. Good luc
