Hi,

You can just type it (using an editor which supports the symbol, like
FlexBuilder does) or use HTML text.

RE: [flexcoders] how can I close a mxml with one function?

2005-02-14 Thread Dane, Sid

Hi,

It depends on what you mean by close. For example, you could do somethinglike:
getURL(javascript:history.go(-1));
To go to the previous page, which could be the page you want to go to.

But remember that Flex also keeps history in the HTML wrapper, so that won't
work all the time.

Ofcourse you can use the getURL() to go to a specific (HTML) page or run a
javascript function.

RE: [flexcoders] Flex Builder

2005-02-03 Thread Dane, Sid

Hi,

It does only ship with Flex server: "Flex Builder is only available with
the Flex presentation server. You can receive Flex Builder in the following
ways."

But if you are
developing for a client, he should have some licences you can use: "Flex Builder 1.5 comes bundled with
Flex 1.5. When you purchase Flex, you receive five full licenses for Flex Builder. If you need additional
Flex Builder licenses, your salesperson can arrange for additional
licenses."

So it should be
even possible do get an additional
licence.
