Good Day. I hope you'll forgive my very basic questions. I've googled, read FAQ's, and built a few tutorials, and have a very basic app that displays video. But I still have a very basic question.
Must I have Flash Media Server in order to capture and save video from a webcam to a server? Is there *any* way I can build a small development, recording app on my existing http://domain? I am a PHP / MySQL developer, so this is all very new to me. Like I said, I can display video, but I'm having a hard time figuring out NetStream.connect() -- unless it's indeed true I need FMS. Thank you in advance for your time and any pointers.
