*Totally* different derivations of Unix though.
Here's the family tree: http://www.levenez.com/unix/history.html#00 - Mac OS
is in the middle on the right, Linux at the bottom on the right.

2007-12-04 Thread Peter DeHaan
There have been several FileReference related bugs fixed in the recently
released MovieStar/9,0,115,0 release. For more information, see
http://www.kaourantin.net/2007/12/adobe-flash-player-9-update-3-released
.html. The latest player should be available for Windows, Macintosh, and
Linux.

Just tried Ubuntu and no joy there either -- maybe it shares the same
code base as the Mac since they are both Unix.

I've read that the bugs with FileReference on the Macintosh have been
fixed, but I'm still having problems uploading (as in uploads don't
work).

The problem exists in Leopard (Mac Pro running Flash Player 9.0.98.0)
and Tiger (MacBook Pro running 9.0.60.235). No problems with uploads
 running on Windows.

Anyone from Adobe care to comment?
