[flexcoders] form state
i need to find a way for emptying the values of a mx:form (like the reset button in html form), is it possible ? or the only solution is to write a user's specific function ? thanks Yahoo! You need to write a specific function to blank out all the controls. If the controls are bound to a model you could blank the model too. Reset does not necessarily mean "blanking out", if you are comparing the HTML form. It could also mean resetting to the values originally populated. And that would mean storing the "original values" in an instance object and then binding to it on reset. I've tried this before and is sometimes labor intensive since you need to write for each form. I have not found a generic solution yet.
