In my case, there is no outgoing traffic in the SSL case (I just checked). As I mentioned elsewhere, over regular HTTP it works, but I needed to add the session id to the url as described here: http://thanksmister.com/?p=59 So I think we need to keep the two issues separate. I'm hoping Matt is

Since I can't attach a ControlBar to the left, right or top of a Panel, I'm looking into the various Panel extensions out there, but I like to keep the views in MXML as much as possible and find myself wondering if I should just abandon the panel and use an appropriately styled VBox. I basically

Funny you should mention that :) I'm playing with that now. I think it will work OK for my centered side buttons. For the top I imagine it might work too as long as I ensure that only the data grid is scrollable. Stick an HBox of controls within other HBoxes or VBoxes in the panel?

Thanks Seth. I discovered another issue. If you have a load balancer that needs a cookie for session stickiness, you can't pass it on the URL as you can with the Tomcat session id. And it seems that URLRequestHeader is not supported by FileReference.upload() We're up to five votes. On 10/26/07,
