I wonder if there could be any connection with this?
The same thought occurred here. Something that might give some light on it
is the free performance monitor tool
Bob,
Do you know if this tool will run on intel processors also? The
website seems to say that it is for amd devices only. Is it also
able to be used with visual studio 2003 or just with 2005?

Question on the 100 watt pa: Could we crank up the alc controlled available
peak power a bit by decreasing the bias on either the driver or main
transistors to reduce intermod above 100 watts on ssb ?

Only had my SDR-1000 (no PA) for about 3 weeks and liking it very much. I
started out with released ver 1.4.4; used it until 2 days ago when I tried the
1.4.5 preview 15 beta version. I notice many very nice improvements, and I
don't even know what I'm doing yet. Very nice stuff, and thanks to
Robert,
If you are using the delta44 audio card and perhaps others, set the
Setup-Audio-BufferSize to 256 and make sure you are running asio.
You can also try and set Setup-DSP-Keyer-HighRes although with my 3
GHz Pentium 4 I don't see much difference there. The audio buffer
size is the
Dear FlexRadio customers,

When keying the SDR1K With keyboard or memories I miss the first character.
What must I do? Thanks.

Has anyone successfully ran the SDR1K on 6M at KW levels? If so, how did
you do it? I would like to drive a Commander VHF 1200 with a SDR. Any
suggestions?

Folks
Howcum we don't have a running version of Linux SDR-1000 console?
It is the 'natural platform' for SDR-1000.
WHAT IS THE FRIGGIN' LIMITING FACTOR?

Don't give up on trying to build it in VS2005, it can be done. There
a few problems but if you think it through there is a reason for
everything.
Here are my steps in more detail starting just after the unzip of preview 14.
1. install latest directx sdk from microsoft if you haven't already

Thanks (smile)... Just 'baiting' a little. I think then, as you mention here
is a little teamwork, and perhaps a single distribution and programming
tool!

Hi,
In Pre 14, I was testing power level and using companding and
compression in an attempt to increase the average power level. In
pre 14, the average power level is down compared to pre 12, because
of the new ALC. I connected an external audio generator and a scope,
but this produces a
I assume you are asking _me_ since I brought up the subject.
1) How do you handle the compiling and/or linking to the C# stuff?
I assume here you mean the c++ libraries fftw etc.? You don't do anything, they
just
build automatically as part of the project. Their dlls are found at runtime

I have a 2.4 gig p4 running XP pro SP2.
I plan on buying a fully loaded SDR-1000 and the delta 44 soundcard.
Is this a realistic setup for digital modes?
I usually run psk31 and other modes but I rarely use an actual voice
