[Flexradio] Memory controls missing

Jeff, I solely miss the memory controls in your latest release(July 29 I believe). The last 3 does nothing for me. I suppose you can't make every one happy and some one has probably said these controls are not needed but not so for me. I have each mode and each band in memory plus some SWL

I agree about the missing memory. I'm not sure why, but I understand that the scanning function was removed due to some FCC requirement, however why remove the user memory data too? Otherwise, things are really shaping up with PowerSDR ! Thanks, Brian / w5ami On 8/4/06, Charles Greene [EMAIL

Guy's I don't quite understand why you say the memory controls are missing .They were moved to a drop down menu called memory, right above the stby/on switch. Now I agree that they should have remained where they were, so as to simply click on save instead of having to use the drop down.

Here is a item I don't know what to think of. My SDR friend pointed it out to me, so I didn't discover it. When you click on some of the console functions with a mouse, you can then hit the spacebar on your keyboard and it will repeat the mouse click. So click on a band and then the space bar

Duffy, I found this too and inquired about stopping this behavior. It seems that there are some keys you can't control the behavior with .NET. The spacebar is one of them. Here is Eric's reply: The problem with the spacebar is that the .NET controls have automatic behavior for intercepting

This is one of those built-in functions of C# (and .NET in general). There are default keyboard handlers that you get with the stock controls. Some people like them, other people do not. Unfortunately, they are a real bear to defeat if you don't like them. Because at least some people enjoyed

[Flexradio] Bug or feature??

2006-08-04 Thread Duffy
Philip What I don't like is the variability of it. The spacebar isn't defined as a PTT key, It's what ever you last hit with the mouse. So if you're in QSO and add your noise blanker or filter change or whatever you must remember to go back and hit mox just before you want to xmit again. I

As I understand it, the issue is not so much the media as it is the COA, or Certificate of Authenticity, which should be attached to the System. Without the COA, I would question it's validity. http://www.microsoft.com/resources/howtotell/en/coa.mspx 73, John KD8K - Original Message -

Many brand new computers come without original media. The OS is preloaded, perhaps with a normally hidden recovery partition, and perhaps also with the option to get a CD for a nominal extra charge. AFAIK, if the machine has a holographic sticker with the license key, it's legal. Alan NV8A
