This may give you some clues: Unplug one of the 1/4 plugs for audio going
to the SDR-1000 and observe what kind of signal you get out RF wise. Then
put it back and repeat with the other 1/4 plug. See what you get RF wise.

Okay once again I am asking for your help.
I put a call into FlexRadio but have to wait for Eric to return on Monday.
In the meantime, I thought I would utilize the smarts on this reflector.
Setup:
AMD 64x2 w/ 2 gig memory using Windows XP, Delta 44 Snd card,
a USB to SDR cable and keying via the
act but it was around

Many voltage regulators have excessive levels of output noise. DC to DC
converters and switching regulators may generate switching products
covering a wide frequency spectrum.
An "Finesse" approach to get at such noise is described in a paper from
Wenzel Associates, Inc.
