Further to my note, the varying gain is definitely coming from the SDR1000, and
it is somehow connected to the AGC.

I am using one of my SDR1000,s for EME, but I am noticing what appears to be
varying gain.
Running WSJT the indicated db on the WSJT screen varies from -20db, to +8db.
It should be constant at +8db. At -20db, the WSJT screen is white, which means
I will not see any EME signals.
I have disconnec
This isn't in the KB, but it has been reported and the root cause was
voltage instability that is feeding the thermistor. The thermistor is
fed by a non-regulated voltage supply and when you transmit, there is a
small voltage sag that induces a temperature change and hence the
frequency change.

My SDR-1000 is less than a week old, so I am very much a newbie. I'm
hoping for some guidance/help/reassurance/assistance from the list.
As a bit of background, I work digital modes almost exclusively and the
SDR's implementation of nice, sharp, narrow filters is what really sold
me. So far, thi

How did you download it? We added this into the trunk on the SVN version
today. If you already have an SVN folder setup, you should be able to just
right click and select SVN Update. It is possible that there is a bug in
the adaptation. What frequency are you testing it on?

I just down loaded it and its not working. The previous one removed all
the BC stuff, this one does nothing. Do I have to down load everything
again, or is there some bug. Being three miles from WLW I know if it
works, the old one worked very well. W8XO

This was fixed as of this afternoon on SVN.

I've had the same problem for some time now and I don't think it is a
hardware (computer) or configuration issue. The reason I say this is
that when I switch to the K6JCA console or the official release 1.6.2
console it goes away. The CPU utilization is about the same regardless
