Hi Ken,
Ignoring the fact that v4.05 doesn't install, are there any advantages to
VAC 4.xx over v3.12, which I am running?

His callsign is NN6EE and it is in the FCC database but he has been

Gee, can anyone figure out why he was banned?

Moderator,
Can you turn up the anti-flame control on this list?
Most of us are interested in flex-radio content and in improving the product
- the traffic from nn6rr is neither, and it's getting tiresome.
Thanks in advance,

Hi Bob
My former note was after installing VAC 4.05 on my recent laptop. After
your post, I installed it on a desktop and when executing VAC control
panel, I got the « driver not loaded ».
Note that the SDR1k is connected to the laptop, not to the desktop.

Finally got Monk Apollo on 20 cw this afternoon.
A little tough getting the split correct.
I used the Split/Sub RX combo.
But I'm getting better at it. The hard part is to set vfo B without moving
VFO A from the station.
We need a lock feature so that doesn't happen while trying to move vfo b

What I get is "driver not loaded" but
What I get is "driver not loaded" but the idea is the same, complete

Thanks Dear José,
well two of us have had the same failure. I am not at all sure what
causes the Driver Not Installed message. I tried my Registry Cleaner
and a reboot and nothing seemed to help. I hope that Eugeme M. will
respond today with an idea.

Bonjour Ken
I uninstalled VAC 4.04 and installed the new version (TKS for your
info). I open the control panel and found my previous setup (number of
cables, format range...)
Then lauched PowerSDR without problem.

I am sorry. I tried 4.05 and it fails with the error "Audio Driver
Not Installed. I have written to the author to ask what I might have
done wrong. I reinstalled 4.04 with no problems.

Tim is right in that we don't have anything exactly like what you described
today. There are several things you can use to your advantage though. The
XIT control can be used to offset your transmit frequency in Hz. Set it to
5000 and then turning it on/off will determine whether you transmit on
Steve,
Probably the most important thing you can do to reduce glitching in the
FA-66 is to drop the buffer sizes to minimum (all of them) in the FA-66
Control Panel (found in the Windows Control Panel). Beyond that, it is a
matter of CPU speed, FireWire card quality, and PowerSDR buffer size and
VAC has been upgraded to version 4.05 which includes Vista 32/64 bit
support and other bug fixes. Registered users can upgrade using the
link supplied to them by the author.
