Update on SVN 1373. I renamed old .mbd and let PowerSDR build a new
one. No errors.

I haven't tried it myself, but my understanding is that the procedure

means of the "Open Firmware Password" application, which is available

Ahh. To do that, simply record Pre-Processed and the hit the play button
while transmitting (with the monitor on). That should accomplish the same
thing as your tape recorder. You can even loop it.

Actually that is true, but what could be better than transmitting a
recording (created with the mike in question and PowerSDR) and tweaking the
audio thru PowerSDR in real time? The recording would be exactly as PowerSDR
hears it, and the result would not be colored by my internal hearing.

I think you can do what you're describing just by setting the TX Wave
controls to Post-Processed and then listening to those wave files using
third party software (Winamp, Windows Media Player, etc).

Thanks for the suggestion. I was trying to say that my internal hearing is
coloring what I'm hearing thru the headphones. The only way to eliminate the
internal sounds would be to use a recording. I just purchased a Kenwood
TS-870 which I'll use to test the audio but the internal sounds (caused

Greetings,
I'm using the monitor button on PowerSDR to monitor my audio which appears
fine in my headphones. However some people tell me that I sound muddy. I was
wondering if there was way to use the sound recorder to transmit my recorded

Intel-based Macs do have a "BIOS password" feature; They use Intel's
Extended Firmware Interface (EFI) for their "BIOS", but an OS X
application is required to setup and manipulate the password for the
firmware. See http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106482

Hi,
I recently installed CA Internet Security Suite 2007 and noticed that
one program loaded, cctray.exe, was peaking at 100% cpu time on a 10
Hz period. It looked like a 0.1 Hz square wave on the Windows Task
Manager. Needless to say this was murder for PowerSDR. I could stop
