Dale, it has something to do with the buffer size, I am at 2048 (and cant go
larger), with an intermittent horiz line,
at 512 it is almost a continuous line.

Check the Audio Buffer size on Setup > Audio > Primary. If it's set too
low, you'll sometimes see that horizontal line flit by. Just as an
experiment, try increasing your Audio Buffer Size to the next step, and
see if it goes away.

After going back and forth between 1.10.2 and svn 1508

calibration" and cw output..
Doing a bit of ssb and / or tune seems to re-enable cw. Even if I switch to
1.10.2 (in a totally separate directory).
