I'm just checking -- I reserved for the banquet a couple of weeks ago at
the same time as I put in my 2nd RX order, and yet my name is not on the
list at http://www.flex-radio.com/signup.aspx?topic=dayton08. Is the web
list up to date?

Alan,
No, you can't get both demod and I/Q out to VAC. But if you are
getting I/Q out to VAC, you still get the demod out to the regular
Flex outputs such as headphone jack.

Since VAC can create *multiple* virtual audio cable pairs, is it
possible to have the regular demodulated audio feeding one of them and

Setting up VAC with digital programs is well documented in the KB. Doing a

I have seen the 5000a demonstrated with RTTY, PSK etc. using the add-on

I would appreciate an explanation of the steps to set up these

Mike,
Our show and travel radio is an inexpensive Toshiba laptop (dual core, 2
GB)that runs Vista. We have no problem running the F5K with it at 192KHz
sampling rate.

I don't want to keep the masses from answering, but laptops will definitely
work. We have a Toshiba dual core laptop here in the office that works
fine. Even an older Dell P4 will work so long as we keep the sample rate
low.
