I agree with Dale, reset your database first, I think that after it
re-reads the EEPROM and creates the new database, you will be back in
business.

My image was apparently really bad. I got notice during the contest that I
was heard on both sidebands.
Ran control shift p image calibration and it failed. Also ran for transmit.
Both failed.
What shall I do now?

Connecting the FLEX-5000C to the Internet is not a requirement for using the
radio.
Since you only have dial-up, the only reason I could think of where you might
want to temporarily connect it to the Internet is for downloading firmware,
driver and PowerSDR updates.
