Just a point of clarification. Having an older version is not a bad thing
other than it has a known vulnerability. Functionality they are the same.
My examination was done on an XP machine. I'll need to look at Vista later
tonight after the SEC championship game is over.

Just did a scan of my machine and msadox.dll is not in my
c:\windows\system32 at all however it is in all versions of Power SDR folders
that I have. I'm running XP and everything works fine.The version of the dll
that is in all my Power SDR folders back to 1.10, is version 2.81.1128.0.
Interesting. First off, file date stamps can not be used for file version
determination. You need to look at the file's properties and determine the
actual version from there.
I just did a scan of my Windows XP machine for all instances of msadox.dll and
found that the "fixed" version v2.81.1
