Actually it's a bug. Try hitting AB twice and you can hear the sound plays fine.Also if you press mox you can hear the sound normally and the bonus is that the next time you don't need to press anything, just press play. But it's only for one time, then again you need mox. Mike Date: Thu,

Just a short QST There were several of us running FLEX-3000s last night on 40m (7.181) @ 0130 UTC that gathered a fairly large round table before propagation changed swiftly we all dropped into the noise. It was really fun to listen to other FLEX-3000s and talking about the radio in general.

It's interesting using the PowerSDR panadapter to examine signals. I'll often see a strong SSB station with lots of opposite sideband only a little ways down in amplitude. I first wondered if it was my receiver until I looked around and found equally strong stations with no opposite

Mike, If the SWR is less than 1.2:1 I don't think that the tuner needs to tune anything and drops out. My dummy load won't tune either, but doesn't need to. Also my 75 meter does not tune, but it is 1.08:1.. at 3.847,, but at 3.55 it's 3.3:1, but the tuner will re-tune it to 1.1..
