[Flexradio] Mouse no longer drags pan adapter Flex 3000

After installing Microsoft updates I find that (PowerSDR 1.18.0/Flex 3000/Windows XP SP3/Latest fire wire driver) I can no longer drag the pan adapter to change frequency - prior, if I was to hold down the left mouse button and drag the pan adapter it would scroll the pan as I dragged - after
