I didn't mean to imply that a long beverage was the only antenna
possible or that I was going to use! It's just that my interests at

Jealous? Darn right I'm jealous :-)
I have a problem squeezing a 20m dipole on my lot. I have sweet dreams about
having multiple 1/4 mile beverages for RX.
No need to apologize. If you got it, do it!
From a diversity standpoint, I would think that having a little less

We haven't seen this become a problem in the past. As long as it stays that

Neally Mays here for the Flex-3000!
But wait, if you order within the next 10 minutes we'll throw in a
second 3000, all for just extra shipping and handling (which is 1500
bucks).
Gotta love that Billy Mays!

Have a new 3000,1 week old.
Decided I would like to have the extra capabilities of the 5000a. I
purpose a trade of the 3000 and $$$ for a used 5000a.Recoupe some of
your? investment in the 5000a and still have a fine sdr rig to use.
Would also consider buying a used 5000a out rite.

Heck yeah I'm jealous!! At least I have access to the roof of my building here

only figure out how to make 2 SDR1000's into a main and a sub receiver on the
same console. It would be awesome! Just dreaming folks...

One of the requirements for diversity RX is that the receivers need to have

which is a challenge with receivers that do not share an oscillator. This is

Alan,
Not yet. The full productions cost are not known so there is no pricing yet.
There were some number ranges talked about at Dayton, but there was a wide
