Hi,looking at the profiles in transmit, I did not see the HM-5 in the list. Is
there a profile that fits the Heil MH-5. I know there is a way to lay it out
in the knowledge base, but what should I put in the Box, DX or another setting?
Any profiles others use, I would be greatfull.

You build your own TX profiles to suite your voice characteristics. The
profiles are just staring points. I never use the default TX profiles. They
do not sound good with my voice.

As an update to my previous post about this where I was trying to find a
device that would work with Win7 64 bit, I thought I would share with the
group that the Iogear GUC232A USB to Serial converter works fine with this
OS. I had to download the correct driver from the Iogear web site as the CD
While setting up and testing a new system here, I did a search of the Flex
Knowledge Center to see what typical DPC Latency Checker maximum values are.
I was unable to locate any ranges of values to use as a reference.
What values are other seeing and not experiencing detectable dropouts?
I am posting this since this information would have been useful to me if it
was available. Perhaps it will be of use to someone else on the list, and I
can save them the time I spent to figure it out.
I just got Windows 7 64 bit home premium working with Flex 5K, dual RXs here

Anything under 1000 us is good. 1500 us and above *may* give you problems. If
you get them, set the SafeMode in the Firewire driver to a higher value.

Over 4000us Safe mode 2 or 3 (if it will run at all)
I have heard some that the radio would totally stop at anything over

Thanks for the info and your experience, I am sure that there will be
someone doing much the same as you did. I bought that same card
several months ago, but just to show how quick things change, mine has

You are correct that information on specific computers is a moving target.
In that type of environment, real time information is the best information.
That is why I shared my information to provide some data for others to

Is there a difference between the 3000 and 5000 Flex hardware interface?
No, there is not.
The Flex knowledge base does makes mention of the VIA Firewire chip set being
used on newer motherboards without any data as to whether it works or not. If
others have tested the VIA chip set, the
