There is no way to change the IRQ, you are stuck with it. If there is another pci slot in your computer (and assuming that you are using a non-onboard firewire port), move your card and then see if/what IRQ it shares a device with. The USB wifi stick is still a good alternative though! Neal Campb

Indeed, I noticed that it locked up when accesing the internet or mail program. The latency is around 2000 and this is normal from before I ade the changes. Is there a way to change the IRQ on the network card? I would like to access the Internet on this computer. Yes, I am using RJ45 Mario -

It does, you are sharing the interrupt with your lan port. I assume you are using the RJ45 plug in the motherboard? You can try to disable it and use a USB wifi stick (or not use the internet at all), If you need help on how to disable it, let me know! Neal Campbell Abroham Neal Software www.abr
