Is there another Flex Radio net other than he one that is on 14.329 MHZ ?
The band propagation for this band at times is unworkable for me.
Wondering if there is something along the 40 or 75 meter band.
My Grid Square is FN22
Thanks

After 3 SDR 1000 and a Flex 3000 (Great radio) I think I want to try a Flex
5000A. Would like the 2nd receiver, atu not wanted. I have a flex 3000 with
box and a Icom 746 ori with ps125 power supply to trade or will pay cash
for a good deal.

There use to be a Flex radio next on 40 meters, in the evening, I think it was
on a Wed evening. Not sure what the freq was, but it was kind of early in the
evening, I think it was around 5:00pm in Arizona time, so the propagation
wasn't that great that early, in the evening in Arizona.
73's,
Well, if you send me a time and frequency I will try to be there. 40
meters is my favorite band. But I will warn you that I might not appear
since we are once again having the threat of thunderstorms. Last night we
had a particularly vicious one where the thunder did not boom but produced
Well, I am in Dominica and I have an initial station set up. I have the
MacBook Pro driving the F3K, with an SGC-231 tuner driving a 10m rectangular
vertical loop oriented E/W. I am going to shut the WiFi card down and go
back on calling CQ using Olivia 16/500 at 14,074 kHz center frequency. First
I am seeing images in the panadapter. When listening to a CW signal on 7.049,
I see a panadapter image of the signal at about 6.990 (frequencies to nearest
KHZ), If I click on the image, there is nothing there. I also notice images
at other places too. Signal at 7.033 has an image at about

I don't use remote desktop at all with my remote base (which is
currently HRD and Skye). At some point, I hope to have the 3K at the
remote base, but not until I can eliminate PowerSDR as part of the
solution.
Maybe if I could do Firewire over IP and had an OC1 line to the remote

Major storms hit Chicago area, but no lightning close by.
I think it effected my Flex5K.
A substation near me got hit, big time. Son was driving by when it lit
up he said.
Not sure it was lightning or blow out due to lines being down elsewhere.
That knocked out my power for a moment, but
Turn off the power to the radios and let them sit over night with no power
applied to them (hardware reset).
If that does not clear it up, have a talk with Dudley about it.

Bill,
Yes it can, and a near by strike can surge the entire grounding grid.
One way to test is to see if there is a difference between the signals
on Ant 1,2 or 3, and then the same signals by moving the same antenna
directly to RX1 and/or RX2 inputs. If the signals are down on Ant
