Yes it is a great Idea except the configuration software DOES NOT WORK.
I'm waiting for a fix to configure my KIO2.

I didn't need to use the configuration software for the KRC2. I just set the
jumpers on the board

I asked this question a couple of days ago with no answer, so I'll try a
slightly different subject line and see if it gets any attention this time.
When in SPEC mode is the I/Q data stream supplied before or after the
PowerSDR noise blanker?

Hi,
I have an audio studio with 3 different MOTU interfaces, a couple of
Iomega interfaces, a Digidesign interface, and a couple of
SymbolSound DSP processing units, plus several digital hard disk

To be precise, in what version of PowerSDR?
For a really good answer, that is really a Eric or Bob McGwier question and
best asked on the FlexEdge, where they monitor alittle closer than here,
both are really busy right now.

I would like to offer what -had- been presented on one or both of the
Flex reflectors some time back; It had to do with a USB-controlled
RELAY BOARD.
I have one of these boards, and I wish I had ordered two. (I think I
will be placing an order for a second one soon...) Basically, this is

I spent some time looking at the Avid stuff and there are some good ideas
there. The Windows 7 Tuning Guide is pretty decent but not complete. I
really liked the list of patches needed for all of the software versions,
etc. That could fit well with flexradiowiki.com

+1 here.
My MOTU, M-AUDIO ProFire, EMU, Yamaha (etc) gear/drivers are all subject
to drop-outs with high DPC's *when very low ASIO latencies are set* .
I don't know anyone's 1394 driver code that couldn't stand improvement,
so I don't think it would be fair to say Flex was alone in this.

I'm feeling old and frustrated! I love the new Flex 5000A receiver but am
having very little luck with digital modes and CW. It's been recommended

Dudley,
It was a generic question since I doubt that noise blanker insertion
point is moving from version to version. Currently, I'm running 2.0.8,
but would be interested in knowing if any PowerSDR version has the noise
blanker before the generation of the Spec mode data.
I'll ask the
